Print a layout and generate a PDF
Use a print layout to turn the data in your records into a printed PDF.
Open a record in any view. Click the printer icon in the top right. You can also open the three-dot menu and select Print this record.

The first time you do this in a table, Ninox opens an automatically set up print layout with all currently available fields. If you create fields later in your table, Ninox will not add them afterwards if you open that layout a second time.

Open the layout you need
If there is not only one print layout for this table, pick the one you need from drop down list in the top bar on the left, right beside the Back button.
Only users with an admin role can save changes to print layouts. Users with other roles can edit a print layout and print that version, but after they leave the Print editor with Back, they can only click Discard changes.
Adjust the layout elements
In the bottom of the page you find a toggle to Show a gird or hide it and a slider to Zoom in or out.
Click an element to highlight its frame. Then drag it to a new position.
Drag the square handles to resize it.
Click Edit script <> in the top right to update the content of a field or element.
In the top toolbar, you will find:
Undo and Redo buttons will help you to fix mistakes quickly.
Use Cut, Copy, and Paste in the top bar to reuse recurring styles and text boxes more efficiently.
The three dots menu gives you options to Arrange and Align your selected elements as you like.
Add content on the layout
Click + Insert in the top bar and add the elements you need:
Textboxes (can also contain a logic)
Static images
Data fields from your Ninox app
For more details about element settings and custom print layouts, see Create and customize pages.
Remove content or layout elements
Click an element to select it. Then click one of the square handles to set the focus on the frame instead of the content.
Click Cut in the top bar, or press the Return key on your keyboard, to remove the selected element.
Generate a PDF
When your print layout is ready, click Generate PDF in the top right. By default, the PDF opens in your browser.
Open the arrow next to Generate PDF to choose what to generate:
Generate PDF for selected record
Generate PDF for all records
