Customize table columns

Add, arrange, and hide columns in a table view.

Use the column header menu to configure columns in the current table view.

Columns display fields in a table view. A field stores data in the table.

These changes affect only the current view. They do not change the stored field values.

Rename columns

Rename a column to use a clearer name in the current table view.

Open the column menu

Click the header of the column you want to rename.

Rename the column

Select Rename column. Enter the new name, then save your changes.

Duplicate columns

Duplicate a column when you need another view-specific column with the same configuration.

Open the column menu

Click the header of the column you want to duplicate.

Duplicate the column

Select Duplicate column.

Ninox adds a copy of the column to the current table view.

Add columns

Add a column when you need to display another field or create a field next to an existing column.

Open the column menu

Click the header of the column beside the new column.

Insert the column

Select Insert column left or Insert column right.

Choose an existing field or create a new field.

Hide columns

Hide columns when you want to focus the table on selected fields.

Click the header of the column you want to hide.

Select Hide column.

To show it again, click x hidden columns in the toolbar and select the field.
