# Mehrzeiliger Text (Multiline-Text)

Nutze ein Feld vom Typ **Mehrzeiliger Text** für längere Notizen, Beschreibungen, Kommentare oder Erklärungen.

Feldspezifische Einstellungen für **Text** sind:

 **Allgemein**

* **Standardwert**: füllt das Feld in neuen Datensätzen automatisch
* **Minimale Länge**: verlangt eine Mindestanzahl an Zeichen
* **Maximale Länge**: begrenzt die Anzahl der Zeichen, die Nutzer eingeben können

**Text** eignet sich am besten für kurze Eingaben. Wenn Nutzer längere Notizen oder Absätze eingeben sollen, nutze stattdessen **Mehrzeiliger Text**.

Wenn du formatierten Text brauchst, nutze **Formatierter Text**.
